IAMNATIV is an African social enterprise that creates socially forward media content for founders, NGOs, foundations, development agencies, brands, media organisations and other purpose-driven organisations, working with trusted local creatives across Africa.
This Privacy Policy explains how IAMNATIV collects, uses, stores, protects and shares personal information when you visit or use iamnativ.com, participate in an IAMNATIV programme or competition, register as a creative, apply for an opportunity, work with us on a production, engage with our team, subscribe to communications, or otherwise interact with IAMNATIV.
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “IAMNATIV,” “we,” “us” or “our” refers to IAMNATIV and, where applicable, its operating entity, Aymak Creative Ventures Ltd.

IAMNATIV is an African social enterprise creating socially forward media content with trusted local creatives across Africa.
Our work may involve:
producing documentaries, campaign films, photography, video, interviews and other media;
commissioning and working with photographers, filmmakers, videographers, producers, editors, writers, journalists, designers and other creative professionals;
identifying and engaging suitable creatives for production assignments;
managing production logistics and communications;
running creative programmes, competitions, funds, masterclasses and other initiatives;
maintaining professional creative profiles and portfolios;
communicating opportunities and relevant information to our creative community;
working with clients, partners, funders and other organisations on content and media projects.
Depending on the relationship you have with IAMNATIV, we may act as a data controller, data processor, or another role recognised under applicable data protection law.

The information we collect depends on how you interact with IAMNATIV.
2.1 Information You Provide Directly

3. Creative Profiles, Portfolios and Professional Information
IAMNATIV works with creative professionals across Africa.
If you register, apply to work with us, participate in an IAMNATIV programme, or otherwise provide professional information, we may create or maintain a professional record containing information such as your name, location, creative discipline, skills, experience, portfolio and professional contact information.
Where appropriate and with a lawful basis, some professional information may be made available to clients, production partners, commissioning organisations or other parties involved in an IAMNATIV project.
This is done to enable IAMNATIV to identify and engage appropriate creative professionals for legitimate production and content opportunities.
IAMNATIV does not sell creative profiles or personal information.
Participation in the IAMNATIV creative community does not guarantee employment, commissioning, selection for a project, competition placement or any particular opportunity.

When you participate in an IAMNATIV production or content project, we may collect information necessary to plan, manage and deliver the production.
