Jacktone is a multi-talented award winning filmmaker based in Kenya, recently completed film making at New York film Academy, after graduating in film making at Filamu Juani Academy in 2019. He is the founder of Jade Pictures established in 2019 and the CEO of Kikao Kikuu Films established late 2020. In 2021 his film Blanda was nominated in Kenya’s most prestigious awards - Kalasha Film and TV Awards. In 2022 he emerged the winner of the first ever Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) digital creator competition in Africa hosted May 11, 2022 at The Wheatbaker Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria. He uses films as a tool of social advocacy to realize his vision. He enjoys telling stories that examine human behavior.
