What is I AM NATIV?

NATIV is a website specifically designed for African crews and aligned creative freelancers to make a bit of extra cash and provide quality service to buyers around the world looking for reasonably priced work. The platform offers countless services such as camera operators, fixers, self shooters, producers, sound recordists, voiceover artists, translators, and more.

The customer service?

Emails are responded to within 24 hours. The team are polite and work hard to find a solution for any questions one may have.

When will I know there is a job I can bid for?

Once you are approved via the free membership, you will receive emails with the gigs available and you can send in your proposal or you will be contacted directly if your profile is a perfect match. Once you have a number of great reviews you will be recommended. Consider upgrading to be able to manage your profile and account yourself. This will enable you to manage the clients and jobs.

Why is my profile not appearing on the website?

When you select the paid membership and have gotten great reviews you will be able to have your own profile on the site. Before your service can “go live” it needs to be approved for authenticity. For example, we will check to see if your gig is presented clearly, and if you have unknowingly broken any rules or guidelines.

How much money can I expect to make?

Prices vary based on what you are selling or the request from the buyer. When you sign up with the free membership, NATIV does take a small standard amount (20%) you will take the majority of the cut you make. It’s important to have patience if you’re wondering why you’re not selling much immediately.

How do you get paid?

Payments are made by the buyer in advance and once the work is completed to the satisfaction of the buyer you are paid immediately to your bank or mobile money account.

What if a buyer wants to work with me off NATIV?

This is against the rules and spot checks are made by NATIV. If you are caught you will be banned from the site and have no ability to reach more buyers and climb up the levels of access NATIV has including masterclasses with award winning advisors and finding films, workshops etc that are provided to loyal members.
